Say Tanya or Tonya — same person. Like people say Tanya Tucker or Tonya Tucker for the country singer: one life, two spellings in talk and print. Birth and family use center on Tanya Leigh Watkins. The May 9, 2001 Dallas Observer prints Tonya Dixon for the same sister of Doug — not a second woman.

As a friend and witness to violence
- Laura Ling — murdered 2005 Tanya’s friend and wedding bridesmaid; Bryan radio DJ (on-air Stephanie Hafe). Killed in South Carolina by Stephen Stanko. See murder table.
- WTAW AM / FM — Tanya worked there Family: Tanya worked at WTAW in the Bryan radio years. The same circle included David C. Barnett (later convicted in Brazos County for the 1985 murder of his wife Neva). Court opinions do not name Tanya as a party to that case. Work list: work · business.

In 2026 Tanya sought temporary and permanent guardianship (person) for her mother Wanda Graham and stepfather Hubert Howard Graham Jr. in Brazos County Court at Law No. 2 — causes 972-G and 971-G. Temporary orders, extensions, visitation motions, and training certificates are among the local filings.
